| Abstract: | 26 Aug 2002 a series of activities took place in Wellington to commemorate the arrival of the ARAMOANA in 1962 and hence the start of the Interisland Line. The ARAHURA made a cruise round Wellington Harbour for ferry enthusiasts and there was an evening cocktail cruise on the ARATERE. A commemorative brochure was produced. No mention was made in of the line's predecessors - Union Steam Ship Company and Anchor Line. |
